Sunday, May 27th we will honor our high school graduates during our morning worship service. Our graduates are Jacque, Porche, Kristen and Nathaniel! Graduates and their families along with our teens and their parents will have a graduation brunch at 9:30 am. Teen parents see Nancy for what you can bring for brunch! Come share with our grads this special occasion in their lives.

Camp Ne-O-Tez Clean Up Day

Sunday, May 20th is our Annual Camp Clean Up Day. This is a day devoted to cleaning the cabins, baths, kitchen and getting them ready for summer camp to start! We will begin with worship at 9:30 at the camp property. There are a variety of projects for all ages and talent levels! We will share a common lunch of burgers and grilled hot dogs. Each family is asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share. On Saturday, May 19th the “rebuilding of the wall” around the tennis court will take place. If you want to come down and help with that project – fantastic!

Easter Egg Hunt -Easter Sunday

We will begin Easter Sunday with a continental breakfast at 9:15 am. His Singers will be performing at 10:15 am. Share the resurrected Savior with us during worship at 10:30 am. Immediately following worship we will have an egg hunt on the front lawn for all children birth – 5th grade. Maryland Heights families are asked to bring at least 2 dozen filled eggs.

Good Friday & Easter 2012

This school year, MHCOC has looked at the importance of relating to one another. It’s not enough we worship with one another or serve in a ministry with others a few days a year. God has called us to unite and get involved in each other’s lives! That is the essence of community! To keep the theme going throughout the year, Easter weekend will be looking at Resurrected Relationships -following 3 disciples of Jesus from the schoolyard (the teachings of Jesus) to the killing field, to the mission field. Three people who had their relationships squelched by the fierce sting of death -only to find new hope in the resurrection of Christ.

Please plan on joining us on Good Friday from 5-6pm for a night to center ourselves at the cross, remembering his pain and sacrifice.

And also join us for the fellowship and worship on Easter Sunday! There will be a breakfast from 9:30-10:30, followed by worship service in the auditorium and an Easter egg hunt on the front lawn for the little ones! Whether you’ve been attending MHCOC for 50 years or if you’re someone from the community who’s never set foot in the building -you’re invited to join us as we celebrate life in Christ and the hope of resurrected relationships!

Bird and the Word Dinner

March 14th at 6:00 pm we will have our Bird and the Word dinner. The dinner is all things chicken followed by time in God’s Word with our Bible classes. Each family is asked to bring a chicken dish and either a side dish or dessert. Biscuits and drinks will be provided. Come spend some time in fellowship with your church family!

Camp Ne-O-Tez Annual Dinner

Camp Ne-O-Tez Annual Dinner is Friday, March 30th. The theme is “Possibilities”. A fellowship time and silent auction begins at 6:15 pm with dinner at 7:00 pm Cost is $12.50 per person. Terrill Hall will share with us his the story of how summers at Ne-O-Tez changed his life! Loation: McKnight Crossings Gym. Church of Christ Day at the Ballpark

You can experience Cardinal baseball and at the same time help out CFS, Camp Ne-O-Tez and the Christian Academy. Church of Christ Day at the ballpark is Saturday , April 28th. The Cardinals will be playing the Brwers with time to be determined. Tickets must be reserved and paid for no later than April 1st. You may reserve and pay through JD. Tickets are $22 each. This is a game where everyone is a winner!
